Preferences and functionality

These remember choices such as display, language, or form settings and help provide features you request.

These help us understand visits, traffic sources, page use, errors, and website performance so we can improve the experience. Information may include device and browser details, approximate location derived from an internet protocol address, page interactions, and cookie or similar identifiers.

Advertising, affiliate, and social media

If enabled, these may measure an advertising or affiliate referral, prevent duplicate credit, limit ads, or support embedded social features. A merchant or platform may use its own technology when you click an affiliate link or interact with embedded content. Everyday Works does not use health-related app entries for targeted advertising.

Strictly necessary technologies operate because they are needed to provide a requested service, secure the website, or remember privacy choices. Where applicable law requires consent for analytics, advertising, or other nonessential technologies, we request consent before using them. In other circumstances, we may rely on a legitimate business purpose that is not overridden by your rights or another permitted legal basis.

4. Your choices and how consent works here

When you first visit, a consent banner appears before any optional analytics start. It offers two equally prominent choices: Accept Analytics or Reject Nonessential. We do not treat continued browsing as consent, and nothing optional is pre-selected.

Necessary storage. To remember your consent choice, we store a small preference in your browser’s local storage (named ew_cookie_consent) containing your choice, a version number, and a timestamp. This is required to honor your decision and to avoid showing the banner repeatedly.

Optional analytics. Only if you select “Accept Analytics” do we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-FVF7V535MG) and PostHog. Until then they are not loaded or initialized, and Google Consent Mode is defaulted so analytics and advertising storage are denied. Advertising-related storage remains denied at all times because this site does not use advertising trackers.

Changing or withdrawing your choice. Select Cookie Settings in the footer of any page to change or withdraw consent at any time. If you withdraw consent, we stop future analytics collection and remove the analytics cookies we can control from this website (for example Google Analytics _ga and related identifiers, and PostHog cookies).

You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may prevent checkout, security, preference, or download functions from working. Your choices are browser- and device-specific; clearing storage or using another browser may show the banner again. To opt out of email marketing, use the unsubscribe link in the message; cookie controls do not unsubscribe email.

5. Third parties

Confirmed providers include Stripe for applicable website payments, Kit / ConvertKit for newsletter functions, and — only after you accept analytics — Google Analytics and PostHog for usage measurement. The exact technologies can change as the site changes. Third parties process information under their own notices and contracts.

6. Retention

Some cookies expire when you close the browser; others remain for a defined period or until deleted. Consent records may be retained longer to document your choice. We aim to keep identifiers no longer than reasonably necessary for the stated purpose and legal obligations.

7. Updates

We may update this Policy when technologies, vendors, law, or website features change. The effective date shows the latest revision. If a change materially affects consent, we will request a new choice when required.
