AI Use and AI-Assisted Content Disclosure

Everyday Works uses artificial-intelligence tools as part of creating, developing, and improving some apps, printables, digital products, and related content. This disclosure explains the difference between AI used during our creative or development process and an optional app feature that sends information to an AI provider.
1. How AI may assist our work
AI tools may assist with brainstorming, drafting, editing, research organization, code suggestions, debugging, test planning, interface text, page concepts, design variations, illustrations, decorative elements, and layout experiments. Depending on the task, a portion of the underlying text or artwork may be AI-generated, while other material may be created by a person and refined with AI assistance.
Sadie Gordon, operating the Everyday Works brand, directs the products and selects, edits, arranges, combines, tests, and reviews the finished material. AI is a production tool; it is not the publisher, product owner, professional adviser, or party responsible for the finished Everyday Works product.
2. Printables and digital products
Some Everyday Works printables, planners, journals, activity books, illustrations, covers, decorative elements, descriptions, or supporting materials may contain content created with or materially assisted by generative AI. We review and revise the assembled product before offering it, but AI-assisted or AI-generated material can still contain inaccuracies, omissions, visual artifacts, repeated elements, or unexpected similarities. Review the product for your needs before relying on it, especially when it concerns health, travel, caregiving, safety, legal, financial, or other important decisions.
Platform disclosures are separate from this public notice. When a marketplace, printer, app store, or publishing platform asks whether content is AI-generated or AI-assisted, Everyday Works provides the classification required by that platform based on how the actual text, images, artwork, or translations were created.
3. AI-assisted app development
AI tools have been used during the design and development of Everyday Works apps, including for code suggestions, troubleshooting, documentation, interface copy, and design support. The use of AI during development does not by itself mean that information a user enters into an app is transmitted to an AI provider while the app is running. Runtime data practices are described separately in the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.
In the source-code review completed August 25, 2026, Moody Meals, Plan in Place, and Notes from the Nest had no AI SDK detected. That finding is a snapshot of the reviewed code and does not cover a later version unless the later version is reviewed again.
4. Forget Me Not optional AI feature
Forget Me Not includes an optional, user-invoked feature that may use Google Gemini through an Emergent-managed integration for prescription-image OCR or text extraction and medication-interaction assistance. When a user deliberately invokes that feature, the prescription image or medication name selected by the user may be transmitted to the third-party AI processor to return the requested result.
Before personal information is sent to that feature, the released app must clearly identify the third-party AI processing, describe the information sent and the purpose, link to the applicable privacy information, and obtain any explicit permission required by platform rules or law. Do not submit information that is unnecessary for the requested result. Provider, retention, training, security, and deletion statements must match the verified production configuration.
5. Human review, accuracy, and professional advice
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or unsuitable for a particular person or situation. Human review reduces but does not eliminate those risks. Everyday Works apps and products are organizational and informational tools and are not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice.
Never use an AI-assisted feature for an emergency or as the sole basis for starting, stopping, combining, or changing a medication. Confirm medication names, dosages, interactions, warnings, and OCR results with a qualified pharmacist or clinician and the original prescription label.
6. Intellectual property and licenses
Everyday Works claims copyright and other rights only to the extent permitted by law. The applicable product license covers protectable Everyday Works contributions, which may include human-created text or artwork, editing, selection, coordination, arrangement, compilation, branding, and other expressive modifications. Nothing in this disclosure claims exclusive rights in material that applicable law does not protect or changes the rights of third parties.
7. Short-form disclosures
The following shorter notices may be used with a product or inside an app. They supplement, rather than replace, the Privacy Policy, product license, platform submission answers, and any just-in-time consent required for a user-facing AI feature.
For printables and digital products: “AI tools were used to create or assist with portions of the text, artwork, design, or development of this product. Everyday Works selected, edited, arranged, and reviewed the finished product.”
For app About or Legal screens: “AI tools were used during the design and development of this app. Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, this does not mean information you enter is sent to an AI provider.”
For the Forget Me Not feature before processing: “When you choose this feature, the prescription image or medication name you submit will be sent to Google Gemini through an Emergent-managed integration to return the requested OCR or medication-interaction result. AI results may be wrong. Do not use this feature for emergencies or as a substitute for a pharmacist or clinician. Select Continue only if you permit this processing.”
8. Changes and contact
We may update this disclosure as our products, AI tools, providers, platform requirements, or data practices change. The effective date identifies the latest revision. A new or materially changed user-facing AI feature may require an updated privacy notice, store disclosure, and fresh consent before use.
